Here is what I bought over the weekend:
Ugly, huh?
But, in less than two hours, I turned it into this:
I can't decide if I want to replace the mirror in it or make a chalkboard. What do you think? ALSO... the store where I purchased it had another one, it is identical. I don't know if I like it enough to go get it even though the price is low enough for me to sell and make a profit. Someone let me know what you think. PLEASE!

You and I are thinking alike...I just finished a gold mirror makeover. This turned out beautifully! I'd probably get the other one if it was inexpensive. Are you keeping this one? I haven't decided on chalkboard or mirror, either! Tough call. ; )
ReplyDeleteI love it and it would be great as either a chalkboard or a mirror! If you went back to get the other you could use one as a chalkboard and the other as a mirror! That way, you can have your cake and eat it too! LOL! Love the transformation! Hope you can get time to stop by and even follow if you like! Have an awesome Wednesday!

gorgeous! the finish is so warm. i agree that it would work well as a chalkboard or a mirror! making it a chalkboard would be less costly, but i think hte mirror would be more practical and suit the frame well.
ReplyDeleteMercy, it's incred-eee-blay what paint can do to some U.G.L.Y. woody things! Now, it's L.O.V.E.L.Y.
ReplyDeleteI totally love it. I vote for adding the mirror back. I'd get the other one, too.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I vote to make it a mirror and GO GET THE OTHER ONE! :)
