Trying to cozy up the living room just in time to dismantle and move everything out so we can paint the walls and replace the ceiling. These pics will help me to remember how to reassemble!! 

Painting Again

Although I am completely burned out on painting furniture, I still have some unfinished projects to do. My goal over the next few weeks is to finish them, even if it means something else has to go! Laundry and clean bathrooms for instance. 

I painted the base of this table yesterday. I still have two more chairs to do and the skirt around the table top, but not the top. I am leaving it as is!! I like how it turned out. 

The weather is like springtime here in Texas right now, but it is suppose to be back in the twenties next week so I need to get busy! 

Have Always Been A Fan......

They are pricey! Especially the framed ones!

We found these over the weekend in McKinney Texas at a store that was going out of business. She had everything marked 60% off.  

I drooled over them for a while, made sure they were included in the 60% off sale, and left the store to eat lunch, consider them, and browse in other stores. 

I almost couldn't get back to them fast enough. The owner knew how much I loved them and told me she held her breath when someone else came in that showed an interest in them. 

I think she knew I would be back!  

Dear Diary:

Just a few things...

-Went to bed last night feeling blessed beyond anything I could ever describe. This week has been filled to the brim and flowing over with Gods goodness and generosity!! 

-Woke up this morning feeling a tad bit older. And the reason for it...SILLY! I know! 

-Cannot stop counting my blessings! 

-Weather is nasty...and "Baby It Is Cold Outside"!!

However, the flowers are blooming on the inside!

-I have an urge  to go shopping!

-Instead I will stay inside!  And dry!! There are still many boxes to unpack! 

-BUT a shopping spree is in my future. I feel it!! 

Two Plus Two Equals Two

My Christmas decorations this year are minimal, quite nothing really! I did, however, place these feather trees (bought a couple of years ago) on the mantel. 

The vases below have been sitting on the hearth (just below the trees) for some time now. They got  left behind on purpose as we have been gradually moving our things to Texas because I am not very fond of them and wasn't sure I would keep them. 

I had an idea this morning while sitting on the couch, facing the fireplace, drinking my coffee and I will just tell you it took a lot of brain power to come up with this one! 

TWO feather cones PLUS TWO blue and white vases EQUALS TWO Christmas trees!!

And this all happened before 8:00 AM. Just imagine what else I can come up with today!
