I have found myself counting lately!
I counted the steps from my side of the bed to the bathroom this morning! SIX! I am going to miss that short trip! Lol
I counted the weight I need to lose when I stepped on the scales this morning also. I will not share that amount!!
I counted quarters to see if I had enough to do laundry this week. I will NOT miss that!
I count the days until I will sleep my first night here:
As I type this post, I can hear my neighbor snoring. Unbelievable! I count the days I no longer hear his cursing, sneezing, snoring, and coughing!!
I count my change some afternoons to see if I have enough for this treat:
I count the days when I can prepare our first meal here:
I count the days when my sweet baby girl comes for a visit! It's getting close!
I count the days when I can go home again to visit my parents. I miss them and will be sad this Mothers Day to not be with my mom!
I count my husband, my children, my family, and friends as a gift from God!
I count the things I get to experience and the things I posses a privilege!
I count my blessings! Truly too many to count!
But most importantly...
"I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ." Philippians 3:8
